Taza stone and Oued Amlil are useful regional references, but a project still needs an exact material specification. Confirm the proposed batch, colour, finish, thickness, format and availability before comparing quotes.
A clear specification avoids treating different finishes or thicknesses as the same product simply because they share a regional name.
Prepare the project brief
State the use, area or drawing, project city, sun and water exposure, timing and site access. These details determine finish, format, fabrication allowance and delivery.
For façades, the designer and installer must validate support and fixing. For terraces and pools, slope, drainage, grip and joints are central.
Match finish to use
Split-face stone gives relief to walls; bush-hammered or sandblasted finishes are generally considered for exterior grip; polished or honed finishes are assessed for protected or interior spaces.
Approve a representative sample and consider colour variation and layout across large surfaces before complete fabrication.
Compare clear quotes
Compare material, finish, thickness, format, quantity, cuts, packaging and delivery line by line. A bare m² price is not enough for a reliable decision.
